Kingsdowne Consulting Ltd (KCL) has joined Walk the Walk Solutions Ltd (WTW).
KCL provide a range of consultancy and risk services, including:

· Business Continuity
· Risk Engineering
· Insurance Risk Surveys
both in the UK and Internationally, to Lloyd's Underwriters, Insurers and MGA's and Insurance Brokers. Nick Morrall who set up KCL in 2001 will head up WTW Risk Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of WTW that has acquired KCL; it will initially trade as Kingsdowne Risk Services www.kingsdowne-rs.co.uk
There is an obvious synergy between the two companies, we have been working together for a number of years with KCL providing H&S Audits and Consultancy to users of our BCARM (www.bcarm.co.uk) system. We can now offer their full range of risk services to you and your clients. Nick and Steve Williams worked together at Independent Insurance and have many shared values about delivering pragmatic and effective risk management solutions that enhances the client's business - not just ticking a compliance box.
As more and more businesses look to control and manage risk internally, consultancy in support of our system (BCARM) provides a powerful alternative to the traditional "consultancy" providers especially when you take the system risk data and introduce that into the insurance programmes. Combine that with our General/Operational and People Management background you can help businesses implement and effect real change.
Here are some current projects:
• We are currently working with a client to develop their Risk Assessments in the BCARM system, across their 18 sites throughout the UK and helping them understand how they link this with their insurance placement (with a direct insurer)
• Delivering an Accident Investigation training day for another client who uses our systems; they are concerned about a developing claims culture in one of their locations.
As well as support for clients we can also provide our broker partners with Insurance Market Survey Reports to assist in new business acquisition and dealing with the “problem” case. We will also be offering training that you can provide to clients to add to your proposition.
